Vegan Sausage Patties

We love to eat Gimme Lean vegan sausage – I will often prepare for weekend breakfasts along with pancakes or biscuits. I will also use as a topping when I make pizza. But since it is store bought and needs to stay shelf stable for a while in the cooler, it obviously has extra ingredients that I would prefer to do without.

When I decided to make an effort to prepare as much of our food from scratch as I could, I knew that vegan sausage was one item that was a must. I found a great recipe over at Hell Yeah It’s Vegan, and I love it! It literally took me all of ten minutes to mix up a batch.

My plan is to prep a double or triple batch, form into patties and stick in the freezer to use throughout the week. This is an awesome recipe so head over and check it out!

    These look very good I will try them and see how they taste. I have one child that does not like the texture of any meat so it will be interesting if the texture is the same. Getting protein into him is a challenge.

      the texture is very similar to Gimme Lean, if you’ve tried that.
